    Player arrival and registration. Any help with setting up the courts is highly appreciated!.

    Opening & Tournament Briefing

    A brief intro covering the rules, match structure, and food/drink details, followed by a quick Q&A (Got questions? We've got answers).

  • 10:00 AM

    Group Stage Kick-off

    Let the games begin! We're kicking off the first round of group play.

  • 01:00 PM

    Knockout Stage (Playoffs)

    Single elimination bracket starts. The stakes get higher, the serves get faster, and the drying racks get heavier.

  • 03:00 PM

    Championship Match

    The final showdown to crown our tournament winner!

  • 04:00 PM

    Ceremony & Afterparty

    Celebrating the winners, handing out the Winner certificates, and kicking off the afterparty! The tournament might be over, but the night is just getting started... or are we too old for this shit?

Official WST Rules

Serving is only allowed from below Rule 1

You are allowed to bounce the ball on the serve. Hitting it straight out of the air is not required, but of course allowed.

No volleys allowed Rule 2

The ball must bounce once

Second Serve Rule 3

If your first serve hits the clothing rack or goes directly out, you get a second try.

Venue

Bezirkssportanlage Mainz-Bretzenheim

The WST 2026 takes place on the clay tennis courts of the local sports complex in Bretzenheim. We will have multiple courts operating simultaneously, a main match stage, and designated relaxation zones for players and fans.

By Car / Parking

It seems like there is parking available at or close to the Bezirkssportanlage.

By Public Transport

Tram stop "Bretzenheim, Bahnstraße" or the bus stop "Bretzenheim, Albert-Stohr-Str."

By Bicycle

The venue is easily accessible via the Bretzenheim cycle paths. Cycle parking racks are located directly in front of the tennis court entrance.

There will be a group-phase followed by a KO-phase. More information will be available on tournament day.

If you have one, you have to bring it. If you dont have one, you can borrow one.

Yes you can bring your close friends. But please dont send the invitation in your work group chat or something. Remind them that they have to be registered as well!
